LEDISI “LOVE YOU TOO” TOUR 2025 – NOELLE SORAYA, LIGHTING DIRECTOR @noe.soraya
Background/
Experience
Twenty Years experience (started young) – Graduate of Howard University School of Communications with focus in Television and Stage Production. I’m Noelle Soraya—lighting director, production manager, and master of behind-the-scenes magic. You’ve probably seen my work shining with artists like Meek Mil, PJ Morton, Busta Thymes, LEDISI, Fantasia and more but now it’s time to pull back the curtain and give you a front-row seat to my world.
From a Staten Island kid raised in Newark NJ’s vibrant energy , my path has been anything but ordinary. I turned gains and setback into a career in live entertainment—lighting stages and breaking barriers in an industry where women of color are too often underrepresented.
Now, I’m here to elevate the voices of the unseen and create indelible moments that last long after the spotlight fades. Buckle up, and let’s take this show on the road! 🌟🎤✨.
Throughout my journey, I have faced numerous challenges that have tested my resolve and determination. For instance, during a demanding tour, I once had to troubleshoot a lighting issue within minutes before a live performance, turning a potential disaster into a triumphant moment. It’s experiences like these that not only refine my skills but also fuel my passion for the craft.

Together, We Win: Women in Live Production Panel
The panel is the vision of Howard alumna Noelle Jordan, a lighting director and production manager whose career spans global touring and live event production. Jordan’s broader concept for Together, We Win includes future workshops and expanded programming designed to provide practical tools, mentorship, and sustained engagement for those interested in entering the field.
The event brings together a dynamic group of women working behind the scenes in live entertainment, offering students a rare opportunity to hear directly from professionals shaping the sound, lighting, design, and production of concerts and live events around the world.
But beyond the panel itself, the event reflects a broader intention: to create visibility and access in an area of the industry where both are often limited.
